Based on traditional workmanship combined with courageous entrepreneurial decisions our company has developed through thirty years’ experience in the sector.
Company policy has always been to focus on meticulous workmanship, a quality instilled in us and much appreciated by the world of High Fashion.
The story of our company
Our story began almost by chance with a pinch of initiative and resourcefulness.
In 1987 came a chance encounter with the owner of a silkscreen printing firm. He had a number of customers clamouring for embroidered finishing as an alternative to screenprinting and as he couldn’t offer this option himself, he suggested we should evaluate it. After careful assessment we bought our first embroidery machine and installed it in a space not much bigger than a garage. It was a family-run concern and it expanded rapidly.
Every 6 months we added a new machine and in just two years we had tripled our production and were working three shifts.
In the ’90s the important decision had to be made: whether to create our own internal design department or whether to continue farming out the work. The decision was to do everything in house and it was to prove the right choice then and now,
giving us greater flexibility, ensuring high quality and above all absolute reliability.
The technological development, which has never stopped in the last thirty years, has taken us from punched tape to floppy disks, then from digital files to lasercutting. Some things remain and are carefully safeguarded though, such as free hand drawing to achieve the immediacy of the idea and freshness of the design so that a mere idea can be transformed into a valid embroidery programme.
This then is the background to our company and the story of how we learnt the trade. This is the reason why we love our work. With a hint of the planning which goes into the finished product so it is clear why “embroidery” means so much more than the term implies.
The premises in Curno cover 800 square metres housing both production and offices. The move to this area came back in 2003 so as to have a privileged location close to Milan, which has always been the centre for the fashion industry, ensuring excellent logistics in terms of transport and deliveries and an added advantage for our clients.
Software and state-of-the-art technology but first and foremost competent highly qualified personnel at the machines. Technology like cutting and laser engraving, combined with traditional embroidering, piping, sequins and spangles together with a whole range of other materials, can create surprising solutions on all types of fabric, leather and hide.
Research and Development
At a certain point in our development as a company we opted to take an interesting step forward with the creation of an internal research and development department. Our experience in the sector then led us to move on from traditional suppliers to interactive and proactive suppliers.
That extra something
A “modus operandi” acquired over the years, an approach to work matured through experience, these are the tangible results of three basic values: constant commitment, maximum attention, and care for each and every detail. There is, too, an added benefit which lies in the planning that underlies the finished product for which we are recognized and acclaimed. We aim to fully deserve our clients’ respect since they have come to appreciate us as a modern company offering valid sincere consultancy, top quality results, a professional honest sales network and a competent responsible and well-organized structure.
